Please pay attention to their responses and make sure you actually read the conversation, especially if you just hopped onto Textey. If they have already answered a question before you ask it, you can skip that question – you don’t have to ask it again. You may slightly tweak the wording of these questions/your responses to fit the conversation.

STEP 2: (Pay attention to their response) Great! Let me start by asking a few questions to better help you. We do have a couple of requirements here. 1. Do you have any pending or current felony charges? 2. Tell me about your educational background. What’s the highest level of education you’ve completed?

STEP 3: (Acknowledge their response and tailor to answer) Thank you so much for answering those for me! Tell me what you like about the beauty industry? How long have you wanted to enter the beauty industry?

STEP 4: (Acknowledge their response, tailor to previous answer) Why does right now feel like the best time to pursue this?

STEP 5: (Acknowledge their response and tailor to educational background) Tell me about how you’re spending your time; are you working or in school for anything else? || Tell me about how you’re spending your time. Besides finishing up high school, are you working or involved in any extracurriculars?

Is your boss supportive of you pursuing schooling? || Tell me what your day-to-day looks like right now; are you applying for any jobs right now? || What are you studying in school; are you enjoying it? Are you looking to finish your degree? What does that timeline look like?

STEP 7: (Acknowledge their response) Have you shared this dream with any of your friends or family? What do they think about this?

During this meeting, we’ll learn more about your needs and show you the campus. They’ll also go over information I’m sure you’re curious about, like start dates, schedules, financial aid, and tuition!
